ExtremeXOS: Operation and Configuration

(ENA) - Accelerated Course

 

Duration:               3 days.

 

Audience:              This course is designed for individuals responsible for the configuration, management, maintenance,

                                and support of the Extreme Networks family of LAN switches.

 

Pre-requisites:     A student must have a working familiarity of LAN concepts, including Ethernet and TCP/IP networking.

                          

                                Experience configuring network devices is recommended.

ExtremeXOS: Extreme Networks Specialist

(ENS) - Accelerated Course

 

 

Duration:               5 days.

 

Audience:              The primary audience for this course is network switch administrators who wish to learn the

                                Extreme Networks switch implementation and have a strong background and experience in switch

                                management and network configuration and maintenance.

 

                                Students should have completed a network certification training program and/or had at least one

                                year of experience configuring and supporting switches and networks.

 

                                This course is a prerequisite for ENS Level certification.

 

Pre-requisites:     A student must have the following skills or knowledge prior to attending this course:

                                • Extreme Networks ENA Level certification or equivalent skills and experience

 

                                • One year experience as an administrator configuring and supporting switches and networks

 

                                • Solid theoretical and practical understanding of networking basics, including:

                                TCP/IP addressing/ subnet masks, bridging, switching protocols, and other LAN fundamentals

 

                                Hands on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Extreme Network switches
